Cal will not go into Eugene and win. The thunderstorm took home field advantage away from UW. If they replayed in Seattle with full house UW wins.
While that is more or less true, UW gave that game away with or without the fans. You can't have 6 dropped balls and the tackling was just horrible. It was the perfect storm (see what I did there) and not unlike the game last year against them.

Motherfuckers have a voodoo husky doll or some shit.

lolz at lil wazzy taking exception to what is by far the best example of coug'n it in the last 5-6 years at least.

We laughed hard at the ducks for dropping a 31 point lead and said lil wazzy wanted to coin duck'n it to get the stank off the cougs. Leave no doubt now that the cougs will NOT let that mantle go.

That was next level stuff. 32 point lead and fumble, fumble, fumbled their way to a loss on a night their QB set a team record with 9 fucking TD's in a loss. :pound:

Claim the 'refs' all you want  but giving up 4 fumbles on the way to handing the game away, including a fumble to end it, is a spectacular example of what it means to be a coug.

:salute:

I think, if ASU has its shit together, they can go into Cal and win.

Pasadena in January in January is tough to beat

It’s going to be a good one. If I had to pick a winner right now, I’m taking ASU.

Take them to triple OT, Sun Devils. My Ducks will be watching from their sofas resting up for Cal the following week. Turns out to be a well placed bye week.

That's a game I'm looking forward to next weekend. Both teams have a solid defense.

I think after last night, ASU's defense has something to prove. Colorado broke a lot of tackles, but they were actually pretty talented and Montez played better than I've ever seen him play. Almost everything was laser point perfection, right where it had to be. If he plays like he did against us the rest of the year, he'll be drafted. I don't think Garber can do the same thing.

We've got a good chance, and the fact that we're only a field goal dog on the road apparently against the #15 team in the country would indicate to me that Vegas feels the same.

Bryce Young just made it official. We're very happy in Alabama at the moment. Thanks, USC.

You guys are still the better team. Just one of those weird things that happen that are a part of why we love college football.

Eh, UCLA has a lot of raw talent. Not quite your guys’ raw talent but good enough talent where if they can click on all cylinders on offense they can be good. It just shows that raw talent can beat whatever you call our talent. UCLA’s defense wasn’t even attempted to tackle any of our players. But it goes back to my I will never get pissed that our guys made mistakes because they were giving it their all. It was strictly on coaching for not demanding our receivers go down instead of fighting for extra yards.

I'm not sure what happened. It was 49-17 Cougs when I fell asleep on the couch. Woke up to 63-60 Cougs and watched the last of it.

DTR started playing like a much better passing Jalen Hurts, our receivers kept putting the ball on the ground and our special teams coverage was abysmal. I have nothing but great things to say about how DTR played, much like how Khalil Tate shredded us a few years back.

And you weren’t the only one who essentially fell asleep. The students started bailing too when the score “got out of hand”.

I think that's probably the biggest weakness of a pure Air Raid offense like Leach runs. It's not really designed to slow things down and burn clock.

That's one thing I like about the version that Harrell runs with USC. It's still Air Raid, but with a fair amount of run mixed in.

Against Utah, we couldn't run the ball for shit most of the game and even had negative rushing yards late in the game. But when we needed to close out the game with a late drive, the offense was able to actually run the ball a bit to help.

lol

Yeah, I have a couple of friends who are UCLA fans. Before I fell asleep, I was thinking about all of the texts I was going to be sending them Sunday morning roasting their team.

After that, all I could send was "Wow, what a game". :L

I don’t know that you have to run as much as bleed the play clock and use short passes as de facto runs. There’s just no excuse for blowing a 32-point lead.
