Did you collect your $50 yet on yesterday's game? OSU won it in 11 innings.

And yet there isn't one person that would trade coaches or anything else between programs. No chance the ducks would have won against any of those teams UW lost to. And you know it.Oregon's bowl game was against Michigan State. Washington extended Chris Petersen's record in bowl games at UW to 1-4.

UW's future looks a lot brighter and the fact you have all bought into the fool's gold of recruiting and false hope about that staff just adds to the fun we will have along the way.

I don't think people at his income level do it for the money. They're kind of attention whores and like the fact that people do want his autograph because because of his playing days and it fills that void in his ego. But I agree it's a bad look and someone should have talked him out of it whether he had to pay for backing out or not he should have backed out. Most people who pay 250 bucks for an autograph are doing it to sell it later down the road anyway so I don't really feel sorry for them. He's not ripping them off.Setting aside the fact that I don't think that someone at his income level should be charging for autographs unless it's for charity...
I get that he feels that he should honor his commitments and that he had signed a contract to appear...
But his first obligation is to the entity that is paying him a few million dollars to run their athletic department. Sometimes things come up within your "main job" that can effect your ability to keep your commitment to your "side job".
While I think that the football team coming off of a 5-7 record and the basketball team not making the tournament are pretty stupid reasons to include in why he shouldn't have been there (his presence on campus and/or at practices isn't going to change anything)... the admissions scandal is more than enough reason for him to cancel any appearances.
Especially when it looks like it's for no better reason than to enrich himself further.
