I don't think people at his income level do it for the money. They're kind of attention whores and like the fact that people do want his autograph because because of his playing days and it fills that void in his ego. But I agree it's a bad look and someone should have talked him out of it whether he had to pay for backing out or not he should have backed out. Most people who pay 250 bucks for an autograph are doing it to sell it later down the road anyway so I don't really feel sorry for them. He's not ripping them off.
I agree. I still don't think he should be charging folks. They'd show up to get his autograph anyway. I do get why they do it though.
But that's a whole separate issue and really not a big deal. Certainly not a big a deal as being at an autograph signing when there are issues at USC that he should be addressing.
Hopefully, the new president will put a stop to that kind of thing.
