One of my best friends is a Trojan alum and always brings up sports like that, instead of the big 3 sports. That said, I'd watch this team. Not in person, but on youtube.

Well USC has a history of good baseball and football. Back in the day you only went to the NCAA basketball tournament if you won your conference and there were years USC was pretty good but UCLA would be the one to go.

Some people are fans of a school from football to golf basketball to fencing.
I dont look at Oregons teams in terms of the Big 3 and everything else.

I'm exited to hear when Alabama does well or wins a title in any sport, but I don't follow the minor sports on a regular basis. I mostly follow football, baseball & softball. I used to follow basketball (both men's & women's) a lot closer until it became painfully clear that the administration doesn't care whether we have a decent coach or updated facilities in that sport.

There needs to be an asterisk next to our number 10. We should have ended up 12-1 with a win over UCF but the Pac 12 refs are donkey faced retards.

Yeah, if memory serves, there were a couple of seasons where USC finished with like 2 losses and they didn't make the tournament because both losses were to UCLA and only conference champs went. I think it may have been when Westphal was at USC.

Huskies win the PAC in the 2 major sports in same school year is impressive. Hasn't been done in awhile. Congrats butt sniffers.

Petersen has taken the team up a step for sure, but they have a lot more room to grow.

What coach Hopkins has done is insane. From a 2-16 11th place finish in conference to dominating it (yeah as shit as everyone else is) in 2 years with Romar's kids is incredible.

I stopped watching a few years ago because of how frustrating watching all of their talent squandered because they were garage on defense year after year.

Now they have one of Romar's kids challenging Payton's career steal record.

They play defense again.

Doubt they do much in the NCAA tournament because they lack scorers and have matchup issues, but they are fun to watch again.

Can't wait to see what he can bring when he has his own kids.

Definitely impressive but PAC 12 basketball is historically bad. They are the only team that would earn an at-large bid at this point.

BEAVERZ say "hi" from the #3 PAC12 CBB standings after a pre-season #10 prediction…well, all that and our 2019 baseball team is currently undefeated , AGAIN!

:wash:

3rd in the PAC is cool but doesn’t really mean much if you don’t make the NCAAT

your a buzz killer…beavz by year end will be over 20 wins.

as for the tourney selection, who knows at this point what they will do.

Imo, Washington will get in as an at-large berth and that's it. The only way any other team from the PAC joins them is if someone else wins the PAC-12 tournament.

In fact, the PAC-12 is so lightly regarded right now that if Washington were to lose early in the PAC-12 tournament, they might not get in either and it would just be the team that got the auto-bid from winning the tournament.

beavz are in w/ a win in washington…beavs have won 4 PAC road games already. Huskies let beavs win to help as well.

i think it's been 25 years since we last did that (road wins).

Maybe, but those are PAC-12 wins and the PAC is very lightly regarded. So I doubt that would impress the committee.

I'd love to be wrong, but I will be surprised if the PAC gets more than one team in unless it's Washington and someone other than Washington winning the PAC tournament.

Finishing matters for sure. UW is projected around a 7th seed on several lists and ASU around 11th. Neither can look terrible, but neither has to win out if those projections are even close, which is a big if.

If the beavs go 3-1 and make it to the pac 12 finals it's possibly enough. They might not have to win the tournament, but nothing is for sure

There it's still room for all 3 to knock themselves out for sure. Finish strong or get the fuck out.

Don’t worry, we got the conference tournament. God it would be glorious, have Ernie Kent win the conference tournament then get a pink slip and a lawsuit for stealing money from the university.

I don’t do links but if any of you haven’t read Cantazono’s piece about the private equity firm paying a share of the conference it’s a pretty solid read. There is hope that Scott and all of his buddies could be let go.
