NW schools have only contributed 47 National Championships to the 500+ the conference has:
Oregon = 33
UW = 8
OSU = 4
wsu = 2
You gave that site more attention than I did. As soon as I saw it counted things from Colorado and Utah before they joined the pac I correctly identified it as lazy garbage and dismissed it as lame trolling by our duck friend.Which probably includes a bunch of sports nobody gives a shit about. UW rowing has won like 5 or 6 national championships in the last 10 years but with all due respect, nobody tunes into rowing.
The only sports most of us care about are basketball and football. The only championship Oregon has produced in either of those sports came before Pearl Harbor.

I don't think rowing is NCAA sanctioned so some of these lists poach what they want to list by cutting things like that out. Adding in things for teams before they were in the Pac just shows how bad it is.I actually didn't see the link until you mentioned "that site". Had to go back and see what link you were referring to. I only saw the post listing the number of championships. I just knew off the top of my head that UW rowing has contributed to a number of UW National Championships and knew that Oregon's football team has 0 and looked up to see if the basketball team had ever won a natty.
Wow pointing out the lack of production by the NW schools and I'm trolling.You gave that site more attention than I did. Everyone knows UO football has finished 2nd three times with no Natty. If you read the original post it was a compliment to Stanford & USC, I should have included UCLA in that comment. Afterall we are part of "The Conference of Champions"I actually didn't see the link until you mentioned "that site". Had to go back and see what link you were referring to. thats been over and Oregon fans knew it after Bell, Dorsey and Brooks left. but it will come around it always does.Yeah, their real 'little run' in basketball also appears to be over. Big time. Back to being a track school and that's about it. Knight needs to ask for some refunds.

mens is not a recognized NCAA sport.
It seems the Pac-12 is trying to lay claim to 31 championships that it hard no part in, as pointed out below:
Utah was not a part of the Pac when they won the men's basketball national championship in 1943-44. The Utes also claimed the following titles while members of another league: 1981, 83, 84, 86-88 skiing & 1982-86 & 1990 women's gymnastics.
Colorado was not a member of the Pac when they ran off with the skiing championships in 1959, 60, 1972-79 & 1982.
Oregon St. was not in the conference when they won the 1961 men's cross-country title; neither was Oregon a member when they won the men's 1962 track & field championship.
Arizona St. won the 1965, 67, 69 & 77 baseball titles, along with the 1977 men's outdoor track & field championships while a member of the Western Athletic Conference; and Arizona claimed the 1976 baseball title while a member of the WAC.
While these titles were not won by teams that were members of the Pac-12 during those seasons, the league may lay claim to any titles won by Idaho from 1922 to 1959, and by Montana from 1924 to 1950.
USC womens beach volleyball NCAA champs. Hotter chicks than rowing and recognized.
