If I were Utah, I'd keep that one and look to schedule other P5 schools. BYU is technically a G5, but they have been good enough for long enough that playing them generally gets you credit for a P5 level game.
I get BYU counting if they are beating people, but right now they really shouldn't. That's the danger of going independent. If they stay down for too long they will find it tougher to put the kind of schedule together they need to build cred.

I honestly think that only ND can still pull off not being in a conference in this era. Everyone else really must have access to that 13th game and conf championship.

I would guess at harsin or tedford. Baldwin could also get a look i would think.
Firing him now gives them a jump, but I'm not sure how strong of a draw that job is right now. They had a blip of a season for a second around one or two kind of good players, but outside of that have been bottom dwellers for their entire stay here.

Tedford does have chops at similar situations, I would think Baldwin might get some better situations. Not sure about Harsin. No feeling on how committed he is to BSU.

So where are all them Trojan fans?

The same place they were when I put out the AVI bet that no one would touch! Fuck, UCLA was a 2 win team, yet no takers. SMFH!! As Wally would say, Cowards!
Nope, I actually said we could very well lose this game.

ESPN - “I'm hearing Colorado athletic director Rick George wants a recognizable name with previous head-coaching experience. Possible candidates include Fresno State coach Jeff Tedford, Boise State coach Bryan Harsin, former Oregon coach and Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich, and West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen, who may be interested in making a move. Syracuse coach Dino Babers also could be an interesting option.”
Interesting. Hope they go with Helfrich.

Harsin should blow off that Bosie nonsense and come call plays for Petersen again.

Colorado is in a tough spot. Kind of like if Utah fired or lost Wittingham. It’s two places west coast recruits don’t prefer to go to. I hope for their sake they have a real guy in mind. I love Baldwin and in a way I wish he were up for the Wazzu job, but outside of Tressell and his cheating ways, how many FCS coaches have been successful at the P5 level in the modern day?

Total BS how the PAC12 refs did not review this one. It would have been worth their time. A lot of pissed off ASU fans and a shitload of happy Ute fans.

It’s Pac12 refs, until the Presidents do something about it nothing will get done. The AD’s seem to want Larry Scott gone but they have no power and the officiating won’t get any better until there is a commissioner who cares about the integrity of officials....though watching the WVU/Okie Light game made me question we have the worst officials.

He was out. We all seen the replay his big left toe touched the paint. Don’t go full OD on us now!

Sure, he was probably maybe out. Still close enough in a big situation to warrant a review so both sides are right.

Should have been reviewed but it’s not clear he caught it either
he caught it clear. no juggle his foot was down with control. the only real question was in or on the line. this pic to me looks like on the line which is out in football.

The replay they showed during the game was a higher angle and looked more clear like his shoe was touching the line.

Still should have gone to the booth

They supposedly review every play. They only need to stop the game if they either need more time to look at it, or know they’ll overturn it. If there was another view that made it more clear that his toe was on the line they probably didn’t need more time.
