UCLA playing waiver Nebraska in '15 was the lower bowl over the 9-2 BYU Cougars the Utes played, so I have no clue what you are talking about.

The Cornhuskers was a no win situation type of Bowl match-up no one ever wants. Beat the waiver team, and it's 'who cares'.... Lose to 'em and peeps like you are talking shit years later.

Start playing better OOC games, win enough for a big boy Bowl game, or win the South, and no one will be passing by a PAC team with that sort of resume.

The Foster Farms/Redbox bowl is #4 and Vegas is #6 in the PAC bowl pecking order. Utah finished higher in the standings so they should have gone to Frisco. I don't disagree that it's a no-win situation but they need to win those types of games. The conference has a bad rep because they aren't winning these. Nobody claims the conference was great because USC won the Rose bowl a couple years ago. The whole conference needs to win the bulk of their OOC and bowl games to change the perception.

They did have Michigan but I agree it needs to be upgraded. I would prefer if Utah dropped BYU altogether and played a P5 OOC matchup but I don't get to make the schedule. They have Baylor in a few years but who knows if they'll be any good. And hopefully they can finally get it done for the south this year but we'll see.

Anything after the holiday bowl I’d just prefer the Las Vegas Bowl. At least it’s a reason to go to Vegas...

Big Game (Stanford Cal to you non-BayArea'rs) rescheduled to 12/1 due to air quality issues .... 3rd time Big Game has been cancelled/rescheduled, war years and '63 following JFK's assignation

Air is bad here is SF. Our normal winds are dead and have been for the week. We're a block from the bay and can barely make out the pier. Other than a few folks out with masks, streets are virtually void of people. Surreal

Nothing compared to the fire zones of course, but probably a good idea to postpone. Important game for the schools, but will have zero impact on the PAC
