The article says this, and I tend to agree: the game is thriving. We can all come up with plenty of loathsome things about Selig, but MLB is really kicking ass.

Yes a couple of franchises are being run with no hope of winning for their fans, but the owners are making bank in those places.

I just don't see the game being down the shitter. That's the NBA.
