Nolan, 39, was a point-per-game player in the Swiss league last year, Fedoruk sat out the season, played 50 games for TBL in 2009-10.

interesting. his last year was 2010 and had 16 goals on teh Wild. I suppose if peak condition he would be a nice 4th line or 3rd line guy in that order. but does he have the body at 39 to get through the west to be effective in the playoffs?

The Raffi Torres replacement?

dont know if he has the wheels ... he would have been EXACTLY the type of player the canucks currently need if he was in his early 30's as opposed to creeping on 40

Well, if I know the Belfast Brawler, he wouldn't have hesistated to step in and tune up Marchand when he was treating a Sedin like a speed bag.

Jeff Patterson reads my posts lol

A 29-year-old Owen Nolan is EXACTLY what the #Canucks need. The 39-year-old version not so much

Did Nolan and the Canucks check with the Wings first? They get the right of first refusal on all 35+ players.

His has seen how teams are overpaying for 3rd and 4th line guys, and figures why not get in on the gravy train.

I may be wrong, but a 15 goal 39 year old player is worth about $2-3 million a year?

lol

We had a super secret vote, and it has been approved.

See, I know you guys probably didn't know this, but the Red Wings fans have a vote in all personnel moves, especially if they're over 35.

Except for ww88, he doesn't have a vote, sorry.

Looking forward to Owen Nolan pointing to the top corner of the net, and Roberto Luongo still going down into his butterfly

his last contract with the wild was a 2 year 5.5 mill deal
