It would appear that (at least in this case) a cheater did actually prosper.

Notice that the judge didn't rule on guilt or innocence. Apparently, "no notice of discipline" weighed heavier than actual guilt or innocence related to Brady's manipulating the football. This is not good for the integrity of the game and surprise, surprise who is in the middle of the scandal but Tom Brady?
