Absolutely..........

But who didn't see this coming? 5 days ago I sat here and talked about how Wisconsin would get us off balance with some trick plays.......

It has happenend. Trick play after trick play. We weren't prepared......but I can't pretend like I could have done any better. It's easy to sit here and pretend like Bo should have had us prepared for all these trick plays, but I mean comon'.....

Congrats to Wisconsin for having a really smart coach. He understood the advantage he had having weeks to prepare for this, and he used it.

I hope we produce some kind of miracle in the 2nd half, and I will watch every second of it......but the fact is, Wisky has thrown so much at us that our coaching staff's heads are spinning trying to even begin to figure out where to start making adjustments.

Go Big Red, forever and always!

We don't have any clue where they are going right now......

That's how you get a step behind to begin with......

Defense isn't about just going out and making plays.......

It's about having an idea where the Offense is going, and then making plays.

No fan base deserves to watch their team get thrashed like this, one that was on the come up as late as just 4 hrs ago. I will always be a Husker fan no matter what, I just want something to be proud of, maybe some day. I'm just shattered.

JJM is right, get the players into position to begin with. They look pathetic not knowing where they are supposed to be on any given defensive play. Simplify and let the guys play. But if the coaches don't have a clue where to start with, then your players are just sinking and stinking fast.

99.75% of this loss can be squarely placed on our coaches shoulders. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

I honest felt like Nebraska could lose this game mainly because of mistake prone bullfuck, but the level of being unprepared was the worst I've ever seen in all of my years of watching ANY college football game.

Again, Wiscy could not have improved that much in one week.

Dirk is right. I remember Fisher going to the sideline and Pelini was yelling at him about something. What got me was Fisher yelled back at him How many coaches in America get that kind of disrespect from their players? Usually a player who respects their coach, will keep their mouth shut and listen to the coach.

I know we've seen this kind of disrespect quite a few times with different players towards Pelini.

And we will see this kind of disarray again, I'm 100% certain of it.

They didn't improve.......we didn't get worse......

They had a gameplan that we couldn't prepare for, and they took us out of the game early and it was over.

How many times have you seen Wisconsin run some of those plays? And out of some of those formations?

Beliema understood his situation with tOSU and Penn State early in the year, and he played rather conservative all season until tonight. Tonight he opened up his crazy book of secrets, and they got us off balance early. We didn't know if they were going inside or out the entire game......

Congrats to them.....they did exactly what they should have. They had a major advantage at the start of the season, and they used it.

This is on 1 person and 1 person only

Bo Pelini.

These players aren't that bad. They are that badly prepared.

:L Nebraska got worse because of our coaching staff doesn't know how to prepare for a championship game. Wiscy had a great plan, but Nebraska should have had one to counter their gameplan. No excuses for our staff.

Yes, out coached. Completely. They looked completely confused from the first play of the game.

At least they did in the first quarter. I watched a movie after that. I could tell what kind of night it was gonna be and decided my Saturdays are too valuable to waste on games like that.

At least next year Ohio State is back in post season action, so there is less of a chance that a Legends team will have a month to prepare for the Championship game.

but see my question is, WHERE IS OUR CRAZY BAG OF TRICKS

-we have a starting RB who played as a wildcat QB in highschool
-we have a WR who was a QB in high school
-our starting QB would be a WR in the NFL, and has the speed to be an elite WR
-one of our starting WR has shown to be deadly on jet sweeps
-the diamond formation can put 2 QBs (martinez and turner) and 2 RBs (one of which has thrown passes for us in Rex) all in the same backfield

and yet all we see game in and game out is the same basic playcalling

Does anybody really think that bag of tricks would have resulted in 70 points against a real top 15 team?

Jet sweeps are not pulled from a bag of tricks. At least not the 2nd, 3rd, 4th ad-nauseum time they are run.

Pick six's are not pulled from a bag of tricks

Getting owned along the line of scrimmage (both O and D) is not pulled from a bag of tricks.
