When in fact, in advanced metrics and agility drills, Jeremy Lin is actually off the charts and in the top tier of athleticism among NBA guards

Racial stereotypes are very present in sports, and a white RB is one of the positions where race works against you

I like Lin but he got exposed badly he doesn't play defense and he isn't that quick. NY media did a great job hiding his flaw in Houston he was undressed in the playoffs

He does play decent defense. And he did struggle mightily in the playoffs.....WITH A STRAINED PECK!!

But just because he doesn't play defense (and that's actually a horrible misconception quickly exposed by advanced metrics) and played horribly in the playoffs doesn't mean he isn't elite in his agility and athleticism drills....which he is

Didn't know everyone else in the playoffs were a 100% healthy excuse me.

And do notice your the only who probably thinks that. bc he was exposed all season he wasn't putting up the nyk numbers during that run compared to Houston

Houston relied more on parson and harden, not to mention he wasn't run point as of late bc of his dribble lack of speed and poor shooting. Yes he got hurt but they didn't miss him

There is a reason he's Johnny football like hype is over and why NYK don't miss him or even need him.
