Didn't know everyone else in the playoffs were a 100% healthy excuse me.

And do notice your the only who probably thinks that. bc he was exposed all season he wasn't putting up the nyk numbers during that run compared to Houston

Houston relied more on parson and harden, not to mention he wasn't run point as of late bc of his dribble lack of speed and poor shooting. Yes he got hurt but they didn't miss him

There is a reason he's Johnny football like hype is over and why NYK don't miss him or even need him.

Yeah people aren't 100% healthy in the playoffs. But a strained peck isn't a little ding. It's a pretty legit injury dude

And yeah I am probably the only one that thinks it. Probably because I'm the only one on this board that's a rockets fan and that has actually taken the time to listen to our GM's interviews where he sites those advanced metrics.

And if you think he wasn't running point because of his dribble then I just :L at you man. He wasn't running point because James harden is the star of the team so our offense was essentially hand the ball to harden and let him make plays. He wasn't the #- option so why the fuck would he put up New York numbers?!?!

Dude, I get you have your opinions about him and that's fine, but I'm a diehard rockets fan and have literally watched every single game for the past 5 years. I record games and rewatch them. I spend hours combing through NBA's website and synergy looking at advanced stats. Now I'm no professional but I think I'm a little more informed than a guy who just looks at basic box scores and the occasional TNT broadcast

And really, my point wasn't how good of a basketball player Lin was

It was how his race plays a role in how people view him. Which I will prove to you if you give me some time to gather som stats

Absolutely. Brother gets burnt and we say...shit, brother got burnt for a TD. Cornbread gets burnt and we say "WTF is he doing on the field?" There's just certain places in sport where race is a factor.

and shit

There is a reason why harden is and was the star....
My point is Lin got exposed, if Lin was how he was in New York, rockets maybe upset thunder instead of having harden do most of the work. I still think he's good but I was afraid if he left the big apples his flaws would show and they did. Now Houston about Howard harden parson and now the after thought Lin

And in New York he was because melo wasnt really playing I think amare was injured too as well as melo. This was the last days before mike d left. Remember it was tebow time with linsainty no what Lin get that hype with a healthy NYC team ESP if melo is full healthy and

I understand the sterotype I was debating the line being athletic like you said he is. He's good but he got exposed which sucks bc I like him in NYC even tho I'm a wade/heat fan.

Well... It's not like there's NO truth to it.

How many white cornerbacks do you see in the NFL?

I know what your main point was didn't disagree with it stereotypes are and have been there forever in sports. But I don't think that will hold Rex back he has great character, fight and determination that someone will pick him up. Personally cincy isn't a good fit for him he would do wonders at the patriots or spread team like Seattle or Sanfran.

I was debating about Lin who made me eat my words when I told my boys that he would do serious work in Houston and didn't live up to the hype he had in NYC

:L man, he wasn't "exposed". He just had to be the 2nd/3rd offensive option dude.

Look, the 1 game when harden didn't play at all, Lin put up.....38 points. AGAINST SAN AMTONIO, the team that was in the finals. He wasn't "exposed" dude, he just wasn't the star....he is and will continue to be a role player, not a star. He is capable (as he did in multiple games last year) of being the lead option, but he didn't need to be when he had a top 10, possible top 5 player playing at SG next to him

I think you are misusing the word "exposed". He wasn't exposed, he was used in a different role.

I think Cincy is a GREAT fit for Rex. They have limited options at WR.

Everyone behind Green is mediocre. This team is going to have to set up the pass with the run. Not the other way around.

If Rex is given a legit shot in Cincy he will not let them down. He is an every down NFL running back.

Gio Bernard is not. He's also a giant pussy if you watch hard knocks. He talks like a girl and the defense makes fun of him for what a little bitch he is.

They already have a nickname for him. "Tackling Dummy".

Marvin Lewis had to pull aside the defense and tell them to quit hitting him so hard. If you have HBO go look. Kid is getting fucked up. He is not cut out.

This is not the ACC anymore.

If Rex gets a real fair shot he will be on the team and he will get a chance to prove himself from there.

He did the best thing he could possibly do tonight. He out-performed every RB on the team statistically.

Keep in mind Bernard ran with the 1's vs Atlanta's 1's. There's a drop off after that.

If Cincy is smart they will put Rex in when it's 1's v 1's in the next 3 games. Then we can really see how good he is.

Like I said, it's gonna be incredibly hard for Cincy's coaches to bench their precious 2nd round pick in and play a good old hometown white boy from the 6th round

hometown LOL

I have a strong suspicion that Bernard is going to get injured. He takes so many brutal hits. Plus, everything about him screams situational back, and Rex is an every down back.

If Rex makes it, I think he will eventually crack the two deep by mid-season.

And when did they play?? I'm talking current day and recent past

I mean there are exceptions.l obviously, just like there are with any statement for the most part. But look at the GOATs of the RBs....

Now look at the GOATs of QBs.

Some positions are just traditionally white and some are black....it's just how it goes

If I'm not mistaken, before Peyton Hillis a couple years again, mike James was the last white RB to top 1,000 yards....and that was back in the 90s
