can anybody recall any other franchise tagged players signing with another team and giving up 2 1st round draft picks? Is that the only time that happened?

I can't recall any but I think most of the time, teams work out a trade like the Seahawks and Chiefs did with Frank Clark.

When the Ravens tagged Jackson 1 of the 'usual sources' news outlets posted that only 1 tagged player had ever moved using the 2 X 1st round picks offer sheet. Free agency has evolved and the value of 1st round picks has fluctuated due to rookie pay levels under successive CBAs. I don't see the 2 X 1st round picks being in play for any position player other than a QB.

Can't remember but I think Galloway was franchise tagged and then traded to Dallas for 2 first rounders...

2 firsts is a lot to give up, it's why you don't see it happen too often

The Vikings traded a 1st and 3rd for Jared Allen. But I don't remember a tagged player go for much more than that in a trade.
