Other Games to Watch

Since the Patriots are on vacation for two weeks, there are some other games this week that will have some bearing on the way the season may play out.

Broncos @ Raiders. Raiders aren't a pushover anymore. This is a young team with a hunger in its gut and some fire in their eyes. Broncos sure aren't going to take this game lightly. It's the Sunday Night game in prime time. If I can stay awake, I'll be watching this one. This game is for first place in the AFC West. It may also have weight as to home field advantage in the AFC Playoffs. Denver does not want to drop two games behind the Patriots in the standings.

Bills @ Seahawks. Don't think the Bills have much of a chance, but I'm interested in watching how the Hawks play them. May give a bit of an indicator how they will play the Patriots next week. 4:00 PM EST

Steelers @ Ravens. Ravens have started turning their season around a bit. The Patriots will be playing them in a few weeks and Big Ben may come back for this one. Worth watching just to see who and what's going on. 1:00 PM EST

Bills @ Seahawks. Don't think the Bills have much of a chance, but I'm interested in watching how the Hawks play them. May give a bit of an indicator how they will play the Patriots next week. 8:30 PM Monday Night EST

Ravens easily took care of the Steelers yesterday. Flacco still doesn't look quite right to me. I can't put my finger on it, but he just doesn't look the same as he has in the past. They want to run the ball down people's throats and exhaust the defense. Patriots will have to pay attention against these guys.


Raiders slam dunked the Broncos. Broncos had a couple guys not playing but the Raiders were ready for them and just went steam after the QB. Raiders are 5-0 on the road and that doesn't bode well for Denver. The Broncos don't have a cupcake schedule and if they play like last night in any future games, they could be on the outside looking in. Seems like the Broncos have that down year after a championship disease.
