Best meal I have ever had was a 12 course tasting menu at his restaurant on Hospital Road on London.
12 courses for lunch, and they were all freaking amazing.

i went to the Gordon Ramsay burger place at GCCasino in Coquitlam for a work lunch and it was ok …. overpriced pub burgers but as expected since they are just using his name.

He’s in town for the GCCasino river rock restaurant opening. Again theyre paying to use his name here. highly likely this is a sneak peak in the kitchen

Lying awake around 5 AM this morning and Indy was sleeping with me. I thought he was doing one of those rapid scratches. They do with their hind legs because my dad was moving sort of.

Nope was an earthquake. 4.1 I Victoria. Not really shaky here but that’s the first one I felt of the recent ones.

i was running with my dog and looked at the clock at the local swimming pool right at 5:02 when it apparently happened. I did not feel a thing in North Delta

It’s not like everything was rolling in tumbling, but I was lying flat on my stomach and the bed felt like it was vibrating. Not bouncing just vibrating. Kind of like those beds in hotels you used to be able to put quarters in.

Seriously what happened the past few years? Healthcare is worse, homelessness still bad, housing still unattainable but worse deficit spending than 2020 despite that year being a global catastrophe.

Anybody else think we might be closer to the big one? All the little earthquakes we’ve had in our area around Vancouver Island in the last little while which are not serious but possibly concerning? California had seven small ones in a small period of time not too long ago. You’ve got volcanos in Japan erupting. Volcanos erupting in Hawaii. You’ve got one in Alaska that’s threatening. You’ve also got I believe it’s Mount Rainier which is starting to think about erupting . And then you’ve got that one that’s off the west coast of Oregon and Washington state that’s underwater that is definitely going to erupt in the not too distant future.

Things that make you go hmmmm…

Wouldn't all the small ones relieve the potential for a big one by taking pressure off those areas?

I do think about it and they (the experts) believe we are do for the big one in the next 50-200 years, but I worry more about humans wiping out each other prior to a massive earthquake doing the job. There are major issues that we are either ignoring or think they are no big deal. In the next 30-40 years, large parts of the Middle East are going to be uninhabitable due to climate change and those people will have to find some place else to live. There are likely going to be wars over water and the next pandemic could be right around the corner.

At any rate, have a good Thursday Hank :D
