well yah ... I looked at him like he was on crack ... said no and then he asked in broken english if i knew what my property assessment was ... felt like telling him to save that scheme for the 86 year old down the block

The interesting thing is that we're starting to see a spike regarding Vancouver Island house prices as well. I think some people have decided Vancouver is getting too expensive and are purchasing property on the island.

we have friends that just sold their house in bby and bought 5 acres somewhere outside nanaimo ... hes drives a truck for BCAA and she is a teacher ... he'll keep working and shes not going to teach anymore

It's those three letters though (NDP) which will still pose a major problem for Eby.

Man, the way her own party turfed her on her home soil was the NDP's amateurity on full display. I couldn't care less about a politician but I imagine she broke half the shit in her office when they read that dumb ass manifesto. "Oh hey, we're gonna hold our convention in your province, since you're literally the only good thing we have going for us right now. Also, we're going to read a statement that will ensure you will never ever ever get elected here again. Thanks!"

hes already beat the premier in one of the wealthiest ridings in Canada (Point Grey) running under that orange banner and what hes doing and saying with regards to foreign real estate investment ... not going Trump by denigrating any cultures or racial groups but telling it how it is and saying we need to fix the system ... thats gonna get him votes

Don't get me wrong, I agree with what's he saying and I like the fact he's addressing this issue, I just think when it push comes to shove (and the history of the NDP in BC), he's still going to face an uphill battle.
