Michael Dunahee disappeared from a Victoria playground 25 years ago today

25 years ... wow ... the bold ... just horrible

Crystal Dunahee can’t help reliving the moment she last saw her four-year-old son Michael — it replays “over and over again” in her mind, ever since he vanished without a trace 25 years ago from a Victoria elementary school playground.

It's just awful. No one could imagine what she's going through. Poor family

This is a kick in the gut as well

she recalls the motherly instinct she felt that day, that “something wasn’t quite right.”

“You’re supposed to trust those gut feelings,” she said. "I just pushed it aside. It’s one thing I keep playing over and over again: ‘What if?’

“Things could have played out a lot differently if I had listened to my gut feeling.”

Well, being that he is from Richmond, he most certainly had his windshield in front of him and that's likely why he didn't see the puck coming towards him.

Ms. Wang, a star on the online reality show “Ultra Rich Asian Girls of Vancouver,” normally drives her parents’ Ferrari or Mercedes-Maybach when she visits them in Shanghai. But in Canada, her parents gave her a strict car budget of 150,000 Canadian dollars ($115,000), so she drives the less-flashy Audi RS5.

“I could be in danger if people saw me in a supercar,” she said, her Breguet watch, worth more than a BMW, glinting in the sunlight as she drove the Audi through town.

Yeah, you're really slumming it in the Audi RS5 :L

I have to find a new place to live in Burnaby as my landlady has sold her condo (I have to be out at the end of May). I don't know how much she sold it for, but I bet it was north of 400 grand (and the condo is a tiny one bedroom that is under 700 sq. feet).

The interesting thing is that we're starting to see a spike regarding Vancouver Island house prices as well. I think some people have decided Vancouver is getting too expensive and are purchasing property on the island.

I paid about 400 for a condo (it's technically a TH but it's 1 floor with 2 bdrms) at about 800 sf+- new build back in 2013. Took possession in December. The same unit in the same development sold last month for just shy of half a shmill.

It's actually insane.
