We certainly need to have some action regarding the drug addicted and homeless population (and quite a few people fall into both categories).

Id say if youre a consumer worried about the price of gas right now, go buy an EV like the masses already have done around these parts.

Ebys promise to axe the tax had the small print attached. He promised to eliminate the carbon tax if Ottawa drops the legal requirement to have one

Was a good political "promise" for Eby to make. If/when federal Cons get elected, they will axe it and BC will have to follow or else it gets left behind. If Liberals somehow get reelected (doubtful) it would have to be after making some sort of changes that make it palatable to the provinces.

And now that the BC NDP have the majority, they dont have to deal with the Greens because Im sure they would have said keep the carbon tax or there would be no confidence agreement.

It was funny when BC Cons/Rustad said they would reach out to the Greens to try and get them to work together and Fursteneau didnt pick up their call lol

As soon as all those EV owners start paying the same taxes I pay on gas that are there to maintain the highway infrastructure, and things like that I won’t care much. But if they keep getting a free ride from BC Hydro and all they’re paying is PST and GST on a slightly higher rate because they’re charging at peak hours or something fuck them.
