I was saying to hank and the guys in the Seahawks board.

Let's start with backstory. We have 2 fridge/Freezers. Main, in the Kitchen, and backroom in the landry room/ Side entrance hallway. We have a stand up freezer in the same hallway.

I go to grab some Tazikiki (sp) from the top Right corner of the main fridge and the container feels a little warm....



The main fridge blew.

So we moved everything to the freezers and the fridge....

What didn't fit...

Well....

remember that idiot in the Okanagan a few years ago who celebrated being let back into his home after fire evac.... by lighting off fireworks in his back yard.

think he got jail time, but whatever it was, wasn't enough.

Been at least 50 sudden death calls since yesterday around Vancouver.

When I first came here and was looking for a condo I found a great place pretty early on and asked a question about the A/C and the owner replied "we don't have A/C" and I was shocked and didn't bother asking for an application. I quickly found out that basically none of the buildings or homes here have it and while I get that the weather here rarely reaches "sweltering" or anything close to like right now I'm still not sure why newer places wouldn't have it as even at peaks of 25 +/- Celsius it can still be really uncomfortable without A/C.

Wonder how much of a boom in sales HVAC places are gonna see going forward as people start to worry this is the new normal.

Kelowna is in the last day under the heat dome. Air quality is trash. Part ozone part kamloops forest fire. And the worst of it is still to come. Lightning storm in the forecast for tonight/tomorrow
