for naturey stuff: the view from Grouse Mountain is pretty spectacular, and only 20 min from down town
tourists sometimes like to take the ferry over to Victoria. very scenic on a sunny day.
or a day trip up to Whistler


what do you guys generally like to do when you travel?

Why didn't you suggest a tour of East Hastings around Main St and to wear their Hawks jerseys and ask those nice ladies standing on the corner who work for the Chamber of Commerce where they can go for a good time

I know some people will say 'Good riddance', but I like Don Taylor. Will he still be on Team 1040 with BMac?

i like Taylor, his shtick got really old for me for some time but I still liked him, kinda like that old chair that is not comfortable anymore but you still like it. I may have to watch fridays to see his send off. I think he will stay on radio

not getting a longer show ... just staying for the whole show

the afternoon drive is 2 to 6pm ... he used to be on it from 2:45 til 5pm ... now he stays for the whole show and will have to do actual show planning ie actual work

I think he will resurface in some capacity on TSN or CTV Vancouver (bell properties) as a sports anchor

I never watch TV sports news any more.


And I used to be a big phone in guy in the mid 90's. Always phoning David Pratt on his radio show.


But these days I never go near a sports talk radio show. The only time I'd listen might be while driving and I never have anything on while driving. Prefer to hear engine noise or radar detector.


But I used to like Taylor back in the day on CKVU Sports Page. When he shared it with Houlihan, etc.
