Can't wait to watch this later. Go Tiger!

Anybody played lately?

Went out for the first couple times the last two weekends - my little brother beat me by ONE stroke. First time he has beaten me in almost two decades, the little bastard. ;)

Shot an 88 with 9 pars on Sunday, but a few nasty triples. Could not get out of the tee box clean.

That's pretty nice golf eloco (9 pars is nothing to sneeze at), I used to play bogey golf with the odd double or triple thrown in, it was rare for me to break 90, but 91-95 was fairly usual.

/Haven't golfed very much the last couple of years though.

Mickelson in with a 3 under, but a lot of guys not even starting their first round yet, and they just blew the air horn, likely ending the day with as late as it is.

Weirsy leaked some oil coming in and finished at 2-over par. I don't expect him to contend, but 2-over on a tough US Open course is still pretty nice golf.

Yeah, I parred 7 of 8 holes in the middle of the round, but the beginning and end were (as 'Lil Biz might say) poopy. It's really hard to get consistently better unless you play a ton. I played a lot early last year and got the handicap down to 12, but it's probably back up now b/c I haven't played much in the year since then. Oh well. Hope to play some more this summer.

Man, I love the US Open, but I wish they wouldn't have Berman doing the play-by-play. First off, his voice is abrasive. Second, he honestly is not a golf expert. Why not have Mike Tirico do it? He's so much better.

Shoot, I'd take a +2 at a Putt-Putt course.

Tiger not 100%, hand/arm/wrist is hurt. Don't think he can compete if that is the case. Not on a US Open course.

They are back on the course. Air horns went off and I loved the one fan who yelled...

"Alright!! Here we go, GOLF!!!!!"

That guy isn't staying on the cart path and is certainly not abiding by the 90 degree rule. Somebody call the course marshall.

Lol. "Playing through!"

I was just looking at Chambers Bay for the Open in two years. You Pacific Northwest peeps should check it out. US Open was the best sporting event I've ever been to - it blew me away. Kinda funny, the Chambers Bay Web site has a countdown clock to the 2015 US Open. 734 days 11 hours to go!!! ;)

Luke Donald and Lefty tied for the lead right now.

Ricky Fowler in the running. Would love to see him (or any of the "Golf Boys") in the final pairing on Sunday.

This course must be a beast. I don't think I've seen a good tee shot so far, and when guys are hitting the green it isn't going where they want it.

Not many golfers in the red, either..

Luke Donald was at -4 earlier today - He's now at +1.

/You miss the fairway and you pay the price. On his last hole, he hit a nice tee shot and his ball ended up in a divot.

Luke Donald is your clubhouse leader at even par after a second round 72. He's in great shape heading into the weekend.
