Ben Scrivens has now played NHL games for four franchises that have combined to win 45 Stanley Cups. Alas, he has been in Toronto, Los Angeles, Edmonton and Montreal for none of them. But there’s still time.

Interesting. Sadly for Ben, the drought will continue unless he gets moved to back up Vezina-winner and greatest goalie on the planet, Braden Holtby.

Sadly I knew this one.

Markus Mattsson.

BTW....He ended the season prior with a pt streak. So shouldn't it be 61 pt streak instead of a 51?

I heard one today and thought it was pretty good.

What was the last team to win the cup where no player on the team had ever won one before?

Just a wild ass guess - Calgary Flames in 1989

I should have barred you from answering. :thumb: Yup.

I was kind of surprised, until you think about it. Prior to them, it was 2 teams back a decade that won pretty much everything, Patrick Roy notwithstanding. There wasn't as much in the way of Free Agency then either.

Ok, if the 89 Flames were the last team to do it, who was the first team?

Montreal Athletic Club, some time in the 1800s  Or was that the joke?

So I wonder who could be the next team(s) to do it (if they win this year?)

I am thinking the Flyers nor Canucks have anyone who has won it before.

Maybe Nashville?

Toronto perhaps, if you don't count Horton.

Wasn't Hunwick on that B's team too?
