When I was working over nights downtown the last week I was surprised to see a number of buildings lit up in the French flag colours. That's pretty friendly.

I even saw a lot of cars flashing the French colours.

Had to honour the French!

I was surprised to see the local landmark the Bromo Seltzer Tower (yeah, seriously its a thing) lit up in the French colors.

I wasn't on 95 but in an area downtown scheduled to work 7pm-7am. Despite the death toll I have never been scared in Baltimore but where I was working if they would have told me I could get off early - before it was light out - I might have actually stayed anyway.

Now on the way home the next morning on 95 I had a parade of police cars following me.
