In the article, complete with a “photo” of the couple together, it reported that the country sweetheart and the 60-something cartoonist were seen “canoodling in a SoHo bar last night, and we were able to confirm today that the two are indeed an item.”

Swift fans said the "lovebirds" were last seen “leaving her Tribeca hotel hand in hand." The new couple then boarded a “private jet that was most likely bound for Davis’ home in Albany.”

The Star Press caught up with Davis on Wednesday morning.

“There is no truth to this story,” Davis said. “I took Taylor to Chuck E. Cheese.”
