I find it neat that VW is in a position to buy Alfa, Fiat, Maserati and Ferrari. But they should avoid Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Everyone who touches them fails.

Actually, now that I think about it, there might be some cosmic rift in the universe if the same company owns Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Shouldn't have any affect. VW brands are all across the spectrum.

Skoda, Seat, VW on the lower end
Audi and Porsche in the middle
Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Bentley in the stratosphere.

They also make trucks with MAN and Scania as well as Ducati motorcycles.

Which is actually why it doesn't really make a lot of sense to get the brands listed except for the niche of Fiat and Alpha.
