When my daughter was 6, I had her try some of my habanero salsa. She didn't care for it, but later she came up to me and said "I like the burn" and asked for more.

Every year "the worlds hotest pepper" changes. The Trinidad Scorpion Butch T has been beat by the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend aka the Moruga Scorpion. Named after the location they came from. Its 500,000 SHU above the Butch T which puts it over 2,000,000 SHU. It can strip paint off of things. I cant think of anyone eating something that hot for anything other than entertainment for other people.

Well, technically, it was a Mango Habanero salsa, and the habanero ingredient is far down the ingredients list, but it's still pretty hot. The other one is my favorite.

I wish I could tolerate salsas like that. They look and smell great but I just dont like the heat. Hows the Ghost Chili salsa on your stomach?

I think I have built up an immunity. I don't get the ring of fire anymore and I eat spicy food all the time. I like to sweat when I eat, especially with Indian food. Some hot Tikka Masala is where it is at.
