I learned AOL still exists.

One of the dads on my son's hockey team works for AOL.

When he first told me, I thought he was joking. But no, they actually employ quite a few people here.

I just know Huffington Post which was a big online paper either bought them, or was bought by them. Talk about dropping the ball, AOL had a strangle hold on the market in the mid-late 90s.
