Hey Darkstone, out of curiosity, are you planning on going the whole professor / academic career route?

yeah so anyway my wife has decided to go gluten free (interesting that this post is 14,666)

Youngest son has Celiac Disease, which means he has a Gluten allergy that if unnoticed or untreated leads to intestinal cancer. So no foods with wheat, grains or malt, which is pretty much everything good to eat. Domino's sells a Gluten free pizza that is good, everything else is a rice/corn base and is pretty bland.... Well from a 5 year old's point of view. Momma does a good job of making sure he has gluten free snacks when its break time at the ball field. From what the intestinal doctor tells us the Gluten free diet is healthy....

I find it freaking neat that my group is about to submit the first paper I'll get authorship on. I'll be the second author, and it was pretty cool having my PI ask me how I wanted my name to be on there, since that's how it will appear on all my papers in the future. :D :nerd:

my parents made those the other night, I am waiting on pictures and the report of nasty vs good.

I assumed, with a 5 yr old, that I would try that first, but my 70yr old parents got bored and started shoving pasta through hot dogs.

I don't know your case specifically of course, but based on recent history with my wife's family, I would consider having your son re-diagnosed in a few years.

For whatever reason, Celiac seems to be the "in" disease to diagnose kids with these days. Both my younger brother in law and sister in law were "diagnosed" by their doctor as having Celiac because they had long periods of not feeling well. They both went gluten free for about 2 years before they went back back and got checked again. And sure enough, no gluten allergy.

(Again, I don't know your son's case, so I mean no disrespect at all if he truly has a very serious allergy)

Simple question: If men with big trucks are compensating for small.. equipment, does that mean that men with larger gear drive Japanese cars? If so, that would be really big for the Asian community.
