Ralph Macchio is now the same age Pat Morita was in the first Karate Kid movie!

I'll bite - What's the difference between Bea Arthur and an old Shue?

I am not sure, the old joke is "What's the difference between Bea Arthur and an old shoe?"

And the answer was "You could eat an old shoe, if you had to."

I felt like making a homophone joke. Think, if its this good on Monday how good it will be as the week progresses. Try the veal!

lol - I miss Johnny Carson and especially 'Carnac the Magnificent' where he would hold envelopes to his head, say the answer, rip open the envelope and read the question.

Here's a couple of examples:

A. Dippity Doo

Q. What forms on your Dippity early in the morning?

A. Ssh Boom Bah

A. Name the sound made by an exploding sheep.

That gif is from an episode of a Japanese comedy show called "Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende." Each year they do a New Year's special where the hosts have to act as teachers, reporters, nurses, etc. for a day. There are two catches. The first is that they are not allowed to laugh or they are punished. The second is that the school/hospital/whatever they are staying at is basically an excuse to run a ton of comedy skits and pranks and shit DESIGNED to get them to laugh. They frequently incorporate Japanese celebrities and the family and coworkers of the hosts. I for some reason find it hilarious as hell. It helps to have a knowledge of both the Japanese language and the Japanese culture, but some jokes work equally regardless of birth:

Fortythree's gif is from an episode where they are "researching" new punishments for the New Year's special.
