I've been looking at the CX-5. Mid-30s MPG and lotsa cargo space.

They drive awesome. We got the CX-9 because it seats 7 and occasionally have friends along with a kid or two.

If you can, spring for the Grand Touring package. The Nav system kicks ass, and the leather seats are comfy as hell. I did a four hour stint in it on the way back to Baltimore over the holidays and was not tired at all.
