Know how I know you didn't watch the show, or even read this Page of the thread?

Well I know Rick asked Carol if she murdered the two people and she said yes, wasn't sure if he was referring to burning them as well. I was half asleep when I watched it last night lol

I took it to mean she killed them and then burned them, that or killed them by burning them, though I'm guessing probably the former since Carol doesn't strike me as a sociopath.

Finally caught up so I can read this thread. I like the disease angle, interesting to think about. Even if you come up with a stable society to live in, there will always be danger from illness and natural death. Go to bed with your spouse all safe and sound and he/she dies in there sleep and you are dinner.

I understand the 'sleeping with cells closed' argument and I would do that, but waking up in a locked cell with a dozen walkers outside the bars terrifies me.

If Carol killed them when they were still alive she needs to pay. They were quarantined and were not a threat. I have doubts that she will live through too many more episodes now.

Carl's voice is a changing fast!

Carol does nothing for me but when she ran off the pier after unmudding (wtf?) the water and her breast popped out of her shirt I did enjoy it. In fact I might go enjoy it again now.

I am glad Tyresse made it but he is the luckiest man in the world not to get bitten when surrounded like that.

Finally, and this may have been asked, but if everyone is infected and will turn after dying; why does a bite kill people.

I finally finished season three. My roommate has season four so far DVR'd at home. So I should be up to date Tuesday evening.

this is a great series to marathon
toughest part is avoiding spoilers for a few weeks

I remember I never saw Lost during the first two seasons. I think I watched all those episodes in a week and thought, 'man, I'm glad I didn't have to wait a week for each of these, it would have been torture.'

Haha same here. I actually started watching LOST after the 4th season. My girlfriend at the time bought the box set for the first 4 seasons and leant it to me. I was pretty addicted and I think she regretted lending them to me as it consumed my life for the next couple of months.

Well I wasn't expecting that. I thought Rick would like to protect her, which would escalate things with him and Tyrese as Tyrese would become impatient with the lack of results. Now the question is does Rick tell the truth or does he say she died? If he tells the truth it will upset a lot of people. Tyrese will be pissed that he didn't bring her to him. Daryl would probably go look for her.

I wonder if they'll follow the adventures of Carol like they did with Andrea when she got separated. Or if she'll just disappear like Morgan, the Mexican family, and the Governor until if/when her path crosses with the main group again. Either way I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Carol. I'm very interested to see what happens next with her.

Man, I think tonight might have been my favorite episode. A lot of really intense dialogue. The opening and the closing of the episode was riveting. Really excellent stuff. This was Walking Dead at it's best.

- pretty good opening speech by Lizzie
- and justification from carol in the car. (and the Hyundai is back!!!)
- and the 'hell' sign on the gas station was pretty cool as well
- Ty's a fucking psycho
- lol... "Here's catch! or you know - don't"
- good line "you can be a farmer, Rick - but you can't JUST be a farmer"
- the peach colector.... awwwww
- good banishment speech by Rick at the end too. wonder when she comes back into the picture?
- if that was Lori driving at the end, she would have flipped the Hyundai

a set up episode again, but decent enough

Lol. And jumped out and said - "boy, that thing must have had a 5-star crash rating." (never miss an opportunity for a product plug)

Speaking of which, Craftsmen really ought to get in on the action. Sure, they sell lots of "tools," but they are missing out on the zombie protection angle.

The way Carol talks sometime, you almost get the feeling that she is happier now (well before tonight's ending) than when her family was alive. Not saying she doesn't miss Sophia but it almost seems like Ed being out of her life, more than offsets the loss of Sophia. If so, that's pretty crazy! Her life must have really been hell. Or maybe she just tries to convince herself of this to help with the pain.

Am I the only one who thinks it's time for Tyrese and Carol to go? Can't stand either one of them.

Very good Episode (and a very very good Taking Dead after). Tyrese needs to get his shit straight. Cmon Man. He gives up so easily and is taking on the Andrea role of annoyance for me, his character deserves more (and after reading the comics, so did Andrea but that is another discussion). Daryl was great this episode he really exuded his leadership and alpha dog status on Bob. The one on one conversations were fantastic between Carol and the girl, Rick and Carol.

I hope they dont run this flu story line too long. I would like it wrapped up next week and get some more of this weeks style episodes. I want them OUT of the prison on the road (in the towns) more. I want to meet more smaller groups and get more interaction with other people. I loved the hippies and actually felt sorry for Ana (but wasnt her leg a little too clean cut for being ripped apart, sometimes they dont spend enough time on props for me, if you look at the conversation Daryl and Michonne had Michonne closed her door on the van and there was no door lol). This is a multi watch episode as there are some things I missed (like the hell sign).

Carol. Wow I did NOT expect that to happen. I honestly expected her to go back with Rick and Rick put her on trial with the council or something not banish her outright. That was incredible what he did. Carol was instantly devastated but then you could see her inner strength take over. I wonder where they will take her story now and how they will bring her back in. Will she hook up with the governor? a new groups (someone else from the books?) She has grown SO cold. Would she kill Judith or Carl if they had the fever? Rick? Maggie? Glenn? killing a couple outside the group is one thing but what if it came down to one of the original group? I cant get over that he banished her. Just LEFT her wow. Um thanks for the car hippies lol.

Rick and Daryl are going to have an INTERESTING conversation... and then Rick and Tyrese may throw down again for not bringing her to him. The group dynamic has changed dramatically.

i think she is just ultra confident now in the strong person she thinks she is and thinks she can take on this new world all by her lonesome (ie being banished by Rick from the prison doesnt seem to make her fearful).

All her past memories were just of a weaker self so she chooses not to dwell on them ... its definitely cold

Im still trying to figure out how the whole Governor AND Negan angle will work

The Governors return cant be like the comics because he has no people/group left ... apparently ????

Do the writers go right into a Negan storyline ?
