Im just wondering, for those who have read the comics, did you start reading it before or after the show started...

and those who started reading before, was it in preparation for the show, or was it independent to the show??

He brought up the point of climbing the beams, but he did not say anything about the supports not assisting in preventing walkers from pushing the wall down (a major issue they had at the prison).

Can you post the spoiler idea you found using the spoiler tag?

first off i think its clear at this point that the beams outside the wall is NOT a production mistake

the way the writers have been playing these past few episodes out, the Alexandrians overall are being portrayed as the luckiest people alive, who, to Rick Grimes opinion have managed to survive a poorly designed/built perimeter wall that has no chance of withstanding an attack by a group of LIVE humans approaching from the outside.

AND even with that flaw (which is obvious), to ricks amazement, they dont even have someone posted (a sniper) in the tower looking over the outlying area ... lil bit fishy

so ... you dont have to wonder WHY ricks group dont fully trust the alexandrians yet ... they obviously shouldnt ... the alexandrians are hiding something ... but theyre doing a great job of slowly gaining their trust ... are the alexandrians doing something malicious and treacherous  Initially, I thought the fine folks of Alexandria were just the luckiest bunch of soft idiots in a post apocalyptic world that ever lived and were glad to look for and accept help/leadership ... BUT ...

what if the beams are on the outside for a reason ... ie theyre on the outside to KEEP PEOPLE INSIDE ALEXANDRIA ... initially they may have been built for this purpose by some people (perhaps under the guidance of 3 people ... :eyebrows: ) who, over time, have come to a "peaceful" arrangement with the Alexandrians

Alexandria provides them with everything they need for subsistence ... they get to keep a cut of course because they need to survive and continue being the slave ... i mean .. means of production

but perhaps the people of Alexandria are tired of this arrangement ... their captors dont know the difference between good and bad ... like ricks group does

so maybe we will hear of an explanation/proposition being offered to ricks group by seasons end ... can you please be our new protectors? our NEW saviours?

I started reading during season 3. I regret it but dont because the comics are that damn good. and being completley done the comics (and reading as the new ones come) there are so many differences that I dont feel that I spoiled too much. basically you just CANT do that kind of stuff on TV even if it was on HBO lol

This ain't the first time. You don't get much more "don't fuck with" than what she did at sanctuary after everyone else got captured.

Nope. Not until the end of NEXT season...

do you still think this?

Im not saying we will be seeing ALL the saviours OR Negan but i think, 3 episodes from now we are gonna know there is another group out there that has the Alexandrians by the short and curlys and in need of some protection

It's a bummer

I have a place in Florida. I'm not there much (Rent it out a lot)so I only keep the most basic of cable. I chose DISH because the cheapest package included AMC so I could watch the Dead when I'm down there. It feels like it was a couple of weeks ago I was down their watching the season premiere

I like your theory a lot. I will have to think on it a while to REALLY poke holes in it, but on the surface, I like it.

Oh, I know...

I love her character. The way she has developed throughout the years is amazing. She is my favorite right now.

I read after S2, after they "introduced" Michone in 2.12. I am glad I read the comics because the stories are different enough to not spoil the details, which this show is REALLY good about. Also, the comics dealt with the Gov's hatred of Michone a lot better than the show did. Of course, there is no way the show could have taken that route. WAY to gnarly.

Can't agrue with ya on that. She went from a battered wife to a complete badass. Had the walkers not got her husband she would have whacked him by now
