I definitely didn't see that coming. For some reason I thought Gareth was going to be play a bigger role in this season. Those trailers have a way of being misleading.

Has Maggie completely forgotten that she has a missing sister?

I'm guessing Washington won't be quite far enough north for us to see a hockey stick zombie kill. Wouldn't be my ideal weapon but could get the job done.

I am SHOCKED that the closed that arc so quickly. It is very similar to the books, but I thought for sure they would have lengthened it out to AT LEAST the mid-season finale.

I thought they would be in Terminus for at least a few episodes and I thought Gareth would be tormenting them for a good portion of the season. Moving fast!

I was really put off by the "eating Bob in front of Bob" scenes.

I yea, they were a creepy group of baddies. That's why I would have liked them to stick around a bit longer. I guess they want to focus on the new baddies that Beth is dealing with.

and this group appears at first glance to be a non-comic group, dont you think?

I thought all along the writers were gonna off the Hunters quickly (like the comic) but that has left me all along with a ... how are they gonna fill the season feeling ... so the group beth might be dealing with seems like a departure and Im excited about that

so should we hunker down for a 3 episode beth storyline, I dont think I could take that much singing. how bad are the writers making maggie look not giving a flying fuck about beth as long as Glenn is still around. they need to fix that.

Agreed about Maggie. They had one voice over moment of Daryl telling her what he knew, but that was the only concern she has shown for her sister (and it wasn't shown, nor her prompting).

For a southern belle who was supposedly brought up to love God and family, this is VERY out of character.

As for the new, as-yet-unmet new baddie group, I hope they are well developed. I assume the next ep or 2 will be in "flashback" mode as it covers the time between when Daryl and Carol drove off and the time Michone finds Daryl and (???) in the woods. But that is only about 2 days, so not sure there is enough for 2 episodes.

5 episodes left in in the first half, though, so they have time to develop this a bit.

scott gimple metioned they will do some flashback scenes this season in the first episode of the talking dead. Ill assume we get one full beth episode and then one with beth and daryl and carol. we are not sure how long from the point of daryl coming back to the group to the death of the termites it has been. daryl looks some beat up however

yup ... they showed the Beth centered sneak peak on talking dead and the gal from 24 asked ... "thats a flashback right?"


so as they asked on talking dead ... who do you think Daryl says come on out to in the final scene from last night?

Beth? Carol? Other? (- Morgan?) (- new gay lover? lol)

I think this episode showed that places no value on her former values. She picked up the bible, glanced at it and tossed it aside onto a pile of other books. When Gabriel mentioned post-cannibalcide that this was a house of God, she replied with it's just four walls and a roof. I think Maggies experiences have changed her, and her attitude toward God for sure and possibly family are changed as well.

Still pretty cold though. You would think she would at least be curious, especially since Darryl would have given her a reason to believe that her sister was alive.

well we all know Daryl is gay right.... not that theres anything wrong with that

Im not thinking morgan as they said its been months after when morgan saw that sign and the tree signs from the termites. the timing would not make sense.

I think its beth and carol. they are just fucking around for suspense

It looked to me like their were experimenting on Beth, so I kind of expect her to be carrying a walker child. This will all go horribly wrong and will lead to the walkers becoming more intelligent and capable of communication and use of small tools.

Or the person with Daryl is a celebrity, most likely Jay Leno.

so I dont think this is spoiler or will ruin anyones hope for the series but

Robert Kirkman officially shot down the rumour that this is all a dream in Ricks Coma induced state. which quite frankly I think is very dissapointing as that is how I wanted this series to end and they knew it would be that way from the very beginning and already filmed the last episodes dream wake up way back in season 1 it would make the cry out on the sopranos ending very weak man I would love that
