OT: The Walking Dead - BEWARE OF SPOILERS

Talking Dead had a few interesting bits of information that I had missed while watching the episode.

The 1st guy to get his throat cut who made some long eye contact with Rick, was the hippy that Rick met last season. I'm guessing a few people caught that one, especially if they recently saw that episode.

Also apparently the guy they freed from the train car was the rapist from the flashback at the end of the episode. I think that one was a bit harder to spot since it was really dark during the flashback scene.

They also mentioned there will be a lot of flashbacks this season. They didn't specify if that would include pre-apocalypse flashbacks or not.

I've been dying to see that out of Tyrese, that was amazing.

Morgan at the end was a great touch.

I thought Carol's shelf life had long expired near the beginning of season 3 and here we are. I was way off.

That trough scene was pretty gruesome.

Is it me or does this have the feeling of a larger budget now? I'm guessing with the ratings they're pulling in combined with Breaking Bad being finished they probably got a pay bump and can afford to do more with the show.

I still need to rematch the episode, but my initial feel is that it is the third best episode of the series thus far (behind the pilot and Too Far Gone). It may be better than Too Far Gone.

I do not search for TV spoilers, but I had not heard about Morgan's return, so I was shocked when he showed up. They did say they would be following the comics a little more this year, so I guess that makes sense...

We will see Gabriel next week. A bit earlier than I was expecting. I hope they handle him better than they did in the books. Not hard to do.

Now that the band is back together, I am really excited for some of the soap-opera drama that needs to happen. Rick and Carol seem to be good now, but Rick still needs to establish Alpha with Abraham and he needs to officially accept Lillies sister (brain fart on her character name right now). It seems like Ty and Carol are officially good now as well. Is Darryl and Carol going to officially become a thing? There have also been rumors that they were going to make D "play for the other team", so I am not sure having them together would work for the long term.

On talking dead, Interesting that they clearly stated that the crazy-tattoo-on-his-forehead-"saved" dude who gets bitten after being freed from the railcar and the guy who tortured/raped the terminus people (and as mary said ... "Laughed about it") was the same person

I didnt think it was clear initially from just watching the episode that it was the same guy

Im sure alot of people saw the black slicked back hair, large physique, laughing at suffering and thought for a moment ... All that was missing was lucille

it was not the laugh that oh my that was stupid silly to have there it was the holy shit that guy just is so soft and squimesh lol. it was so great.

I love Eugene, the guy playing him is great
