? is who's better all time; Serena or Venus? I really don't know how to answer that but both have to be among the top 5-10 of female tennis players ever.

I would give the nod to Serena over Venus, but I think Steffi Graf is the best female tennis player ever. She retired quite early and likely left 5 or 6 grand slams titles for other people to nab.

It has to do with the sordid history of match fixing in tennis, BBB (not necessarily at the highest levels of the sport, although Davydenko certainly paid a high price for throwing matches about 10 years ago or so). The tennis tour is certainly going to come down hard on anyone that alleges they are not trying their best or showing disinterest in a match.
