I was hoping that Milos would have won that 4th set tie-breaker as I knew I would fade before the 5th set was completed. Quite happy to see that he prevailed 6-3 in the 5th set. You're right, Dacks, Joker is going to be a tough match, but who gave Seppi a chance over Federer a few nights ago?

Or Berdych a chance against Nasal tonight? Not over yet but looks close...

Well, that Genei-Maria match was a tough one to watch.

/Hard on the ears as well, does she really need to grunt that much?

So tangle foot ran into somebody who can return his serve again.....

Pretty funny - Not a peep from you all tourney long until Milos runs into the Numbr 1 player in the world and then you pipe up. Pretty much the definition of a troll.

I've been refraining from commenting because the only two matches I've watched all tournament was Genie's last weekend and maybe 4 minutes of her match with Maria before I couldn't take the grunting anymore.

Having said that, did anybody actually think Milos had a chance in hell of winning a set vs. Djok?

I didnt really ... he probably would have had a better shot going up against Feds or Rafa this tournament who both looked old when they bowed out

Sure, I thought he had a pretty good chance of taking a set against Joker (and if he would have won that first set tie-breaker, it likely changes the entire complexion of the match).

I never gave him a chance of victory - he's not there yet, unless Djokovic really has an off day - but I was hoping he could have taken a tiebreaker set, and maybe at least broken him once or twice.

Milos is now consistently beating lower seeds and making the quarters, which is fantastic for him. If he continues to improve, he should contend for a major at some point. But he will probably need help, i.e. easy route or get the top seeds on an off day.

Good tourney for both. Looking forward to seeing more from them in the future.

Where is the next generation of Women's Tennis? Serena & Sharapova are the two to beat yet again. It would be nice if grunting were eliminated from tennis. I can't watch Sharapova play because of it.

I'm gonna steal a line from 43 and root for stadium implosion during that match. As for the men, it's Murray vs. Joker in the final (Stan took Novak to five sets, but ran out of gas in the deciding set).

Milos into the semi-finals in Rotterdam where he will face Stan Wawrinka tomorrow. That should be a doozy of a match.

Milos gets Canada off to a great start rolling over Ito of Japan in straight sets (6-2, 6-1, 6-2). Pospisil is taking on Nishikori right now at UBC.

Gutsy performance by old man Nestor and Pospisil to win the doubles in five sets. Canada has a 2-1 lead heading into Sunday singles (Milos vs. Nishikori is the first match).
