No Davis Cup repeat for Canada as they were knocked out by Finland just now. Finns were full value for the win today as they played some great tennis, Felix was not available to go today, Milos won his singles match, but Gabriel Diallo lost his match and Vasek and Alexuis Galarneau were defeated in the deciding doubles.

The Carota Boys are celebrating tonight as Jannik Sinner saves three match points and beats Novak Djokovic in singles and then teams up with paisano Lorenzo Sonego to beat Djokovic and Kecmanovic in doubles. Italy will take on Australia for the Davis Cup on Sunday.

I saw earlier today only 8 times in history that a player lost a major final being up 2-0.

Medvedev is the only player to do it twice.

First one was to Nadal which is quite understandable. Last night was a case of having spent almost 6 hours longer on court than Sinner during the tourney and running out of gas. Medvedev did his job by knocking out that POS domestic abuser Zverev.

I never realized what a monster sponsorship guy Sinner is in Italy. I remembered he sponsored Parmigiano Reggiano (yes he is the spokesman for cheese lol). But my cousin sent me this gem below lol.

This was even before the aussie open win. Probably the most popular athlete in Italy right now.
