Yea. I wish it was a little more on the childish side instead of the LOTR side. The fighting/action scenes felt a little forced. I still loved it enough to go see it three times.
Looks pretty good, but I'm kinda down on The Hobbit. I'll go see it, but I won't be excited about it!
Get ready for the almost conclusion of the pre-cursor to the story you already know the end to where we took a single book that was shorter than any of the LOTR books and split it into 3 movies even though each of those much longer books only got one movie!

I've read the book as well... Is there something wrong with wanting to visually see a beautiful portrayal of the story? Wtf is wrong with people? If you don't like Tolkien, or you don't fancy Jackson's deliverance of the literature to film, then don't view them and leave those that do enjoy it alone.
