well done FIFA ... heroic decision :L

Christine Sinclair banned for four matches and fined for "unsporting behaviour" after Canada's loss to the US at the Olympics.

Come on Irish, a tie against the Germans would be huge.

If there was an irishman in existence who didnt drink alcohol .... i think todays game might have made him start

:drink:

that smilie needs 1 more drink for each goal surrendered

He's just drinking the goal differential. I guess I'll be rooting solely for US and A at the next WC.

can Soccer Canada fine Fifa for being corrupt?
it would be a fun discussion at the very least

... especially since today was also the day FIFA mailed out the ballots for that award to those in the global media that are voting

@ArashMadani
This just gets better and better: We have learned the Cubans have showed up with ONLY 11 players! For a World Cup qualifier!

taking Canada lightly?
don't like the cold?
defection fears?
couldn't find cheap airfare?

Canada 1-0 in the 14th minute.

Cuba has been playing like they are drunk.
that must have been about the 6th or 7th glorious chance.

ooooh, linesman fucked us out of one there.
chances are about 12-0, 25 minutes in.

I'm beginning to think Cuba doesn't give a shit and is trying to stick it to Panama or Honduras?
or just doesn't give a shit

whenever a cuban player is touched now, they fall down for three minutes, just for the rest.
it almost cost them, as the ref has stopped falling for it.

and now cuba down to 10 tired men.
it's REALLY time to add to this lead..... and there it is. 2-0

ref with a mercy red card to canada (Ocean) after the goal.

edit: 3-0 now. david edgar, 79th minute.
Edgar's sub was standing on the sideline.
cuba's goalie has much less fire now.
