I hope after Romo/Garrett watched Megatron destroy us in the end zone, that they'll remember that we have a similar monster in Dez (when remotely healthy). You remember Dez Bryant the guy that helped you build that lead?! I don't understand why we don't throw him the ball at least once every time inside the 10 yard line. There is not a corner out there (just like against CJ) that can stop him from grabbing TD on a fade route if the ball is put up high or making a reception in tight coverage if the ball is placed appropriately - in a battle he will come through more likely than not. Romo, please learn from the Dallas kid, Stafford, and go to your best option (Dez or Witten) instead of freaking Ogletree in the end zone. I don't understand why on the last FG the Cowboys scored that they had Ogletree lined up inside on Dez's side. I knew right then with the alignment that a pass to that side wouldn't work. Just leave the man (Dez) on an island and give him the ball! I still like Garrett but he has a lot to learn. When we had to settle for FGs inside the red zone today, either they didn't look to Dez or he wasn't on the field - that's not acceptable.
Just started watching the Ravens vs. Jets game and I'm wondering if the Ravens will choke in a similar fashion to the Cowboys. Only Tony Romo could engineer the biggest collapse in Cowboys history on the heals of 2 great performances. Every time I feel like this guy has finally turned the corner, he proves he can't be trusted. I think he has ADD. I give Detroit a lot of credit but both of those pick-6's by Romo are just horrendous gifts, not to mention the pick that lead to a game winning score. In the future, if we mount a big lead, maybe we can just pull him and put Kitna in to "manage" the game. I'm kidding but wow! Thank God, they can't choke next week! I now have zero expectations for the Cowboys. Even with the Mavs prior to this past season, I never wavered in my feeling that they would get it done but that's because I knew Dirk was clutch even when all the haters said otherwise. I'm not sure what I'd call Romo at this point. I'm not sure what to think of Romo anymore. Is he a clutch-choker? Thank God for the Mavs/Rangers. Let's hope the Rangers follow the Mavs lead and not the Cowboys.
*deep breath* ...rant over
