It drives me nuts when I walk into the bathroom to see someone left their droppings in the toilet...

Three weeks ago, we agree on a price with the car dealership salesman on a new car. We're sent to financing to do the paperwork.
Finance manager: So, how about this rust protection package? Blah blah blah...
Me: No thanks.
Finance manager: Really? It's a good deal, blah blah blah...
Me: Really, no.
Finance manager: Tell you what. I'll put it in the loan application just to make sure you get approval. If you don't want it, we take it off.
Me: It's okay.
Finance manager: Well, why not, can't hurt, right?
Me: You can if you want, but we're not buying it.
(Nothing signed at the time, because they had to find the specific model and colour we wanted.)
Car arrived yesterday, we went today to pick up. Doing the inspection, I see the rust protection installed. I tell them we're not paying for it, they can remove it. He says we agreed to it. We haggle a bit and then I show him the email I sent him three weeks ago saying we didn't want anything extra - just the price we agreed upon.
Finance manager: Well, I'll tell you what. It's already installed, but I can give you the employee rate. That's half price - $1000. And we'll throw in your oil changes for free - that's worth $1500. You're basically making money!
Me: No thanks. We didn't want it then, we don't want it now, we're not paying for it.
Finance manager: Well, it's already been installed, I can't really uninstall it.
Me: *tough shit for you stare*
Finance manager: ...
Me: ...
Finance manager: Well, I guess I can have service remove the module, but the spray-on protection can't be removed.
Me: Lucky me.

They can go fuck themselves. I was told beforehand that they'd try a stunt like this, and they did. Stuck to my guns, stuck to the original agreement price, and we'll pick it up tomorrow.
The lack of respect and manners the younger generation has for its elders. Let me explain. My wife is away this weekend so naturally I wanted to celebrate. I slipped on my nicest smoking jacket and went to a local bar where I enjoyed a number of Tom Collins's and watched spirited sporting competitions on TV. After a few drinks I asked the bartender, very politely mind you, "Pardon me, would you please show me your breasts?" . Not only did she not honor my request, she cut me off and had me escorted from the premises. What a bitch.
* autocorrect wanted to change sporting to spurting, I almost let it because it did improve this post
that sucks, dude.
This must have been mentioned (maybe by me) but people on their fucking cell phones. I bring it up again because me, my son and daughter in law were talking about them being allowed on planes soon. They both fly a lot and I fly about 6-8 times per year.
IMO, I don't think this is going to go very good. Can you imagine being between two teens flying for the first time? They will feel compelled to call every friend they have and tell them how cool it is. Or some miserable chick with PMS arguing with their hubby on the cell two feet from you? I will bet anyone that you're going to hear stories where someone grabs another persons cell and wipes it against the wall or something. It WILL happen and I could be the first person to do it.
Flying sucks as it is, you have people on edge worried about connecting flight's, flying to see sick relatives or to funerals.....just too many things that can go wrong here.
Bad Idea FAA !!
Agreed. Though I'll point out only that it's the FCC, not the FAA that controls this. The idea right now is that the speed of the plane makes the signal bounce between towers so quickly that it would mess with infrastructure on the ground.
The good thing is that the chair of the FCC has said that his own preference would be to continue to ban it. And even if the FCC allows it, the FAA could ban it as a safety risk (for the reasons you presented). Beyond that, individual airlines could still ban it at their discretion, and pretty much all of them are on record saying they think it's a bad idea.
People who complain about revenge pron.
Thanks for the correction, I thought the FAA had the first call (no pun intended). Still, 90% of the people I've talked to see it as a problem if they allow them. Lets hope they don't.
I fly a lot for work, so this is a topic that I pay attention to.
The FAA would get their say, but for now they just blame the FCC so that they're not the bad guys in the eyes of the ultra-important jerks who hate the fact that they can't use their phone for a couple hours.
I'm more interested in this 10% you've found that think it's a good idea. You need to take them out.
