^RIGHT?^ THAT
^RIGHT?
Off the top of my head... (all from today)
1. People who push the button on the crosswalk, walk when no cars are coming, and then I am stuck waiting at an extended red light for 30 extra seconds.
2. People who drag their feet when they walk.
3. People who just let their phone ring without picking it up. I FUCKING HATE THE SOUND OF A PHONE RINGING!
Getting ready to see how far I can throw this thingWe have a Keurig-drip combination coffeemaker. So normal weekdays we use K cups and on the weekends I'll usually make a full pot with some ground coffee. Problem is, if the carafe is not 100% centered the coffee brews, overflows, and water and grounds go everywhere. Both on the surrounding counter and throughout the machine. It's a fun cleanup first thing in the morning
On the other hand when you are in a place that only has the online menus and the Wi-Fi is garbage. Then it takes a long time for the menu to load.People who get pissed when there's no cell service in a bar or restaurant. You're the reason they block it, lady!
FIFY….Kevin Hart
Absolutely. I ask for a paper menu. And I usually don't go back. A phone screen is too tiny to fit a menu or read it, especially for us old farts. On the other hand when you are in a place that only has the online menus and the Wi-Fi is garbage. Then it takes a long time for the menu to load.

Over the last several years watching both my and my wife's parents have lengthy stays in hospital prior to passing away, it is comforting to know that there is not a huge bill to be paid (as is the case in most G20 countries).
/Sorry to hear this news 43, it really is baffling to me why the US seems to be so hesitant to bring in affordable health care for its citizens.
My son suffered his first major injury playing hockey on Nov 4. Tibial avulsion fracture. Going into the boards for a puck battle and hit from the side by a player about 30 pounds heavier. As happens with kids of his age having this injury, the ACL is stronger than the bone (soft growth plate bone) so the acl ripped the top of the tibia bone off where it attaches. He went to emergency got a CT scan there and in December we got a $26 bill for the crutches they gave him.American Health Care.
In-Laws got a surprise 16,000 bill for a hospital room they didn't use. MIL was in the hospital, was temporarily moved to a rehab facility and was asked "Do you want a room when you come back". When they said yes, the Hospital "held" the room. At full price.
My new Rx plan doesn't want to pay for a medicine I have been taking for 9 years to manage a chronic problem I have had since birth. Instead, they want me to try a different, cheaper medication. That I am also already taking. One of my phones has been on hold for 4 hours due to "higher than normal" call volumes.
Youngest needed an ambulance ride and Emergency admission 2 months ago. One of the "suppliers" of services at that hospital submitted their bill to my insurance with a name that is not my name which my insurance immediately denied. So they did what any good customer service organization would do - called me to figure out the issue. Of course I am kidding, they immediately turned it over to collections who started calling me and harassing me using the other name. Which I promptly ignored. We figured out what happened, called and the collections people said all we had to do was re-submit the bill to insurance as a claim. Not that THEY would use my correct name, no. I have to do it. It's taken me and my wife 45 minutes to find the claims address for my insurance.
If you think there is nothing wrong with American Health Care, I want to beat you with a rake until you need a LOT of health care.
Universal health care is so complicated that only 29 of the 30 First World nations have figured out how to do it.Over the last several years watching both my and my wife's parents have lengthy stays in hospital prior to passing away, it is comforting to know that there is not a huge bill to be paid (as is the case in most G20 countries).

1) Hope he recovers wellMy son suffered his first major injury playing hockey on Nov 4. Tibial avulsion fracture. Ive spent more on 3 different type of knee braces during his recovery than I have for the braces on his teeth (lol), but thankfully that (and his cryo cuff machine) have all been covered by my wifes and my extended health coverage
/he was sent to a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to handle his recovery and determine whether surgery was required. Very good doctor, has worked Olympic games for Team Canada and for the BC Lions. In the first phase of his recovery, my son was going to see him once a week for 3 weeks and with each visit would go for xrays prior at the adjoining imaging clinic 15 minutes before his appointments so the doctor could assess recovery (and determine if surgery was necessary) ... I didnt get a bill for that ... well I guess when I look at my T4, thats my bill
Thanks, yes it is going well. The bone has healed without surgery. He started rehab/physio a couple days before christmas. Went to couple of public skates last week and participated in his first practice with his team Sunday night (non contact and limited drills). He's champing (and chomping ) at the bit to get back. He hasnt had an mri yet but the doc said it would be scheduled (as there could still be ligament damage) if he experienced pain and swelling after any of his physiotherapy. Which he hasnt so far which is great.1) Hope he recovers well
2) You must be lying, I am told by the mouth breathing republicans down here that you cannot get in to see any doctor within 9 years and when you do it's not someone qualified because all the smart doctors have left Canada to make money in the US, and you pay more than your salary in taxes to make it all happen AND you still need insurance. I bet those crutches were made of twigs too.
Any system is bound to have flaws. I would just like to try any other system that doesn't require me to pay more for insurance than I pay for both cars combined per month AND also need to set aside around 7 grand a year to pay for deductibles. While getting the added benefit of always fighting some cubicle jockey who wants to overrule my doctor. Thanks, yes it is going well. The bone has healed without surgery. Im not going to say our system is perfect because of course it isnt. There are big holes and cracks ... Lot of people cant even find a family doctor. But I cant help but think our mouth breathing cons are giving your mouth breathing republicans their "info". One in particular that I know pointed out to me and my son that he had to wait 3 years for an mri/surgery on his torn meniscus. Real great (fake) info to give to a 14 year old kid who is gutted after getting hurt. I felt like fucking him up when he said it to be frank because i knew this shit couldnt be true lol. Ive come to find out it took 3 years for this douche to get his surgery because he basically put the doctors appointment and surgery off for 2 and a half years
What also annoys me is how many people deal with issues like yours every year and are still somehow convinced that our system works. Or even that it's "the best".Any system is bound to have flaws.
