I hate the freeways in Ohio. Specifically, I-75 and I-71. I didn't go 20 miles between Michigan and Kentucky and not run into construction. Kentucky wasn't much better, but at least they have some pretty scenery.

I see that kinda shit all the time flying out of Charlotte. Because American has such a dominant hub, we pay very high fares.

A flight with a connection through Charlotte and on to somewhere else frequently runs about 1/2 the price of the exact same flight to Charlotte with no onward connection.

We tried to renegotiate our mortgage APR with our existing mortgage company and eliminate PMI, they said "nah, we good". So we started the process with a competitor.

I have received 6 calls in four days from the old guys saying "hey we see you're in the process of re-financing, what can we do to keep your business?"

"Bitch, you HAD your chance two fucking weeks ago!".

Ambulance chasers.

Yesterday, Mrs 43 was in a bumper thumper. Traffic slowed and someone hit the car behind her who in turn bumped her car. Small hole in the rear bumper of her car, but no one hurt.

But since the police report went in, she has received 13 text messages and around 20 phone calls from lawyers.

Today, we received a fed ex package from a lawyer in AKRON (100 miles away) with a DVD and a book explaining the process around defrauding insurance companies.


I mean... "filing a claim".
