I love the cure, and apparently they are releasing a new album in Sept that is, as Robert describes it, "the doomiest and gloomiest thing we've ever done".

So, the above video reminded me of the Cure cover of "Hello, I love you" from a compilation for Elektra records 40th anniversary. New artists (well, 30 years ago) doing old songs.

RIP Lamont Dozier, at 81 years old. incredible resume.

Looked into him after hearing this name in Billy Bragg song "Levi Stubb's Tears."
If you can think of a hit by the Supremes, the Four Tops, or Martha and the Vandellas, it was likely written by Holland-Dozier-Holland
That trio wrote over 400 songs, over 40 of which went to #1, including
