In my mind, Canada deserves gold for the awesome sportswomanship they showed when one of the US defenders was down with an injury.

I feel for you guys, it sucks to have the outcome of such an important game tainted by such poor officiating.

What also sucks is that the most Canada can get now is bronze, when in reality they deserve to get at least silver.

Happy to see the US move on, but damned if I don't feel horrible for Canada. I don't blame you for feeling like you got robbed. Fuckin' delay of game. Fuckin' bullshit corner kick. Fuckin' Canada being all sportsmanlike and not giving me a reason to hate them (whatever happened to the diving Canucks?).

I still maintain that Canada's second goal is probably the best of the Olympics.

Canada goalkeeper took a while to play the ball after getting possession, was called for a indirect kick. On the ensuing indirect, the ball deflected off two Canadian players' arms (which happened so fast it was almost impossible to avoid). Free kick awarded, which led to the US tying 3rd goal.
