We are about to "bowhunt" for our first gold medal on msNBC. The US team look like a bunch of deer hunters from SEC schools and the Italians look like extras in Goodfellas, no joke.

Also, one American is named Wookie (spelled different though).

Unfortunately there's way too many commercials. Too many personal stories also. When I was growing up watching the Olympics, it was all about the sports. All of them. Personally I don't think they show enough variety these days.

Are you joking? They show EVERYTHING now. You used to have whatever event the network picked for you to watch on one or two channels. I like the personal stories - I enjoy finding out the stories behind the athletes. And if you don't like the stories or the commercial, change to one of the other 8 Olympic channels.

Me too. Fencing, badminton, and handball all at 2pm. It's fun watching these sports you rarely, if ever, get to see.

Yeah, but even as recently as the 2010 games they had enough respect for them to put up a screen that says "if you want results click here".

This year they just have them all over the front page.

They should really have a "Leisure Sport" olympics. Archery, shooting, dancing, bowling, darts, curling, etc... hell, throw bridge in there to shut those punks up.
