Rex has never been the issue. Rex is a very good coach.

I agree with JDM with the qualifier that he's no longer the problem. A few years back when he was running his mouth like a jackass, we was stupidly putting undue pressure on his guys. He's toned that down as of late and I think this is a good move for the Jets. The financial quagmire that was Sanchez is what has stalled the Jets as of late.

He was never the problem. He has no say in personnel decisions and the personnel are awful.

If they fired him I'd love him at DC, though.

Well we'll just have to disagree on that part.

With any coach but BB, the harbaughs, and maybe Pete Carroll, the jets are completely in the cellar of the NFL his entire stint there.

If I'm a Jets fan, I don't think I mind Rex coming back next year. I don't know what input he has into personnel, but he inherited a pretty good team from Eric Mangini which has lost most of its talent one way or another. I just don't see how they could upgrade at the head coaching spot. I think Sanchez is probably their best option as well.

You can say that Rexis not the problem.
You can say that the QB is not the problem
You can say the defense is not the problem
You can even say the players are not the problem....
So what is the problem?

They are all the problem. Nobody is innocent. The franchise is in turmoil.
They only have to start working as a team to improve.
The problem is you don't know who to sit, who to draft, who to cut, until they fix the organization problems. Does not most of that fall on the head coach????

Not when the coach has no input in personnel and no one to work with.

I would too, but I think Belichick likes to install people who run his system(if not outright puppets) at the DC position.
