Really bad storms here last night to go with the heat. Power is still out for a lot of people. My mother is without power, probably for a few days. That's not great in this heat. Our power just blinked a few times.
A lot of stores and restaurants are still without credit card service. Luckily I complete all transactions with gold nuggets and/ or sexual favors. Octogenarian women love me.

Well, truth be told, the earth goes around the sun in more of an oval than a circle. The northern hemisphere is closer in the winter and further away in the summer. That's why the southern hemisphere on average has colder winters and hotter summers.

Actually got up to 92 here today. Supposed to be 96 tomorrow and Monday. But it's a dry heat (really hot days in the Inland Northwest are generally dry) so it's actually not bad. The big thing is it's supposed to be rain free for the next few weeks. This is what I've been waiting for.
