Boredom Savant
I guess the Cowboys offensive problems are continuing.
so I ordered a CD of a band from my younger, crazier days. Been searching out and replacing old vinyl that has long disappeared from my collection over the years... Not exactly something you can get a a local record store (shit, are there still record stores?)
Got a ship notice today.
CD shipped. Had it in stock. Shipped same day ordered. That is fantastic.
Shipped, from the US... 9/12.
Estimated delivery...
October 4th.
WTF?
Did they strap it to the back of a delivery turtle??

lol... just looked at my order.... est shipping: Sept 13-14.
est arrival date: Oct 7-21.
Looks like I get the turtle after you are done with it.
mine's coming from UK though.
Mines coming form the Us..
looks like they were just employing a little bit of CYA...the email said 10/4, but the online link said 9-17-10/4. So I guess it depends if UPS routes it direct, or takes it over the North Pole first. ugh.
Was "Joyride" by Government Issue... i used to KILL that vinylback in the 80's - early 90's. Long lost, and no turntable for years now, so, may as well get a digital copy of it to blast out now. Every listen will bring back memories of DC Space and 9:30 club.
Also grabbed Murphy's Law (self titled) - shipped today, also 10/4 .
Could only find that used, which is fine, I plan on listening to it, not collecting it.
Think I still actually HAVE the vinyl of that in storage somewhere, but getting a cd copy to play. Won't be able to listen without massive CBGB's flashbacks!! Can't wait!
So, what's up?
Murphys Law is the shit.
Absolutely nothing, bout to cook a steak, and then somehow hope the Jets D does good as they lose . They must lose, but for some reason I took their D on my FFB team. How about you?
24 days 'till hockey!
Correction, approximately 270 days til the Rangers win the Stanley Cup!
